Winner of the Vimeo 'One Minute of Reflection' Weekend Project
I noticed I hadn't been playing my piano much lately, and then I realised I had overlooked perhaps the most integral element of the instrument itself; the hammers. These are what create the actual sound by striking the wire, and yet, the shiny piano keys always get all the attention.
This is a little bit of improv, a few tentative chords and no sense of rhythm, shot with an EOS 550D with a Canon f/2.8 100mm Macro lens. I used a tripod to fix the camera in position, and my phone's LED as a key light.
