Lacey is a radio host, television reporter/co-host, rock journalist and all-around music expert. She started working in Oklahoma City at a Clear Channel alternative rock radio station early in her college career. There she worked as the night DJ as well as hosted the daily New Rock News segment. Lacey’s proudest achievement at Clear Channel Radio was hosting and producing her own weekly local music show, Buzz Born and Bred. Lacey also hosted video newsletters for the largest rock music festival in the Midwest, Dfest and is currently featured in the Oklahoma Rock ‘n’ Roll exhibit for her role as a DJ. In 2008, she was selected by the state senate to help choose the official Oklahoma rock ‘n’ roll song. Her nomination, Flaming Lips Do You Realize, was the eventual winner. Along with the Flaming Lips, Lacey has worked with Shiny Toy Guns, David Cook, the Ugly Suit, and All American Rejects.
Lacey moved to New York City in 2008 to pursue a career in television and currently works at Vh1. She also spends time as an entertainment reporter for Oklahoma’s second largest publication, Oklahoma Gazette. In her spare time, Lacey likes to attend concerts, participate in extreme sports and take Pilates classes.
