We are in a series called “Wounded” and so far we have just scratched the surface of the idea that life is dangerous. Life is hazardous to our health. Not just in a physical sense, but life is also emotionally dangerous. People say the meanest things to us that cut like a knife. People betray us, gossip about us, call us names, leave us, and abuse us. It leaves us wounded.
That is to be expected. Hurting people, hurt people. The cycle continues and we have many walking wounded here today. Hopefully by now you have acknowledged the wounds you have received at the hand of others. In some ways, those kinds of wounds are not easy, but expected.
How many of you believe that every human being on the face of this earth is capable of hurting others?
