We met Sid Shaw, British Elvis fan in his London memorabilia shop called Elvisly Yours in London. Sid felt Elvis deserved to be honored with a statue. But statues are expensive. To raise the money, he began creating and selling replicas. And so his store Elvisly Yours was born.
When Elvis Presley's estate sought to file a trademark application for the name Elvis in the UK, Sid Shaw contested it.. and won! He spoke to us of this legal battle and what happens when rights holders push too far.
