The Sheriff's Department has nearly 400 senior volunteers who provide services to keep you safe. Our senior volunteers can check on your home while you are on vacation. They look into the welfare of elderly or disabled people who live alone through the Sheriff's You Are Not Alone (YANA) program which has been credited with saving the lives of participants.
