Jubilee - a view from the crowd, was a temporary exhibition that explored Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee of 1897 from the point of view of those who celebrated it.
The exhibition was designed by Acme Studios and shows a video installation by Newangle.
The installation used multiple projections to illuminate a large sculptural form made up of hundreds of gauze strips. These strips were arranged in a large diamond shape which allowed visitors to walk inside and view a specially constructed animation.
The installation gave visitors a sense of being amongst the crowds of onlookers celebrating in the streets, as Queen Victoria passes by in her carriage.
