The citizens of Altadena, CA, concerned over the movement of not just one but probably two Walmart stores into their neighborhood have organized a petition drive to place a moratorium on all BIG BOX development until the County revamps its codes regulating the construction and operations of these type stores.
On September 18, 2012, Steve and Jeanette Lamb presented almost over 1,500 petition signatures to the County Board of Supervisors and requested that their petition be placed on the agenda at future meeting.
