Maria Horn interviews Barbara Bettigole, chair of the Transfer Station Advisory Committee, and Brian Bartram, manager of the Salibury/Sharon Transfer Station, about the newly launched pilot project for 100 local families to divert their food waste into special bins that will be kept separate from the rest of our trash and recycled into compost.
