MAD 009, the fourth and 2009 installment of Madrid’s annual conference on design, happened in the Congress Hall of Madrid. Sixteen guest speakers were scheduled to present during the two-day event, including Base’s own audiovisual dude Jean-Marc Joseph. More than 1600 people attended the conferences.
BaseMotion was also responsible for directing the event’s opening credits sequence.
Traditionaly, the credit sequence is always (too) serious. We wanted something different. Something 'light' and funny. We tried to take a characteristic from each speaker/company to create a set of unique 'strange beings'.
