The existing concept of Three Ring Gardens grew from a seed planted by students at Gordon Parks High School four years ago. Supported by educators and community stakeholders, a vision has been created to transform 2.5 acres of vacant land into a community green space and urban agriculture program. This dynamic park stands to benefit over 800 low-income, new immigrant residents, the largest population of at-risk students in the Twin Cities and over 32,000 residents in the direct vicinity, including local businesses.
Students at Gordon Parks co-produced, shot, and helped edit this advocacy video.
