John Morgan says that when we speak of the God Jehovah of Scripture, we seek to understand and then question what we should render to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We look at David who was thankful for the God he worshipped and served. He saw Him as a God that listened, understood and responded. How does one respond to a God like that? In the Psalms, David said he would walk before the Lord. He would call when he needed help. David would constantly remind himself of his salvation, to pay his vows, to not be ashamed and to be faithful.
