Namrata, my wife & me Ananth, had planned a ride from Mumbai to Kanyakumari, India & back. It was a well planned ride with a lot of stops at South Goa - Palolem, Uidpi, Mulki, Coorg, Coonoor, Munnar, Kollam, Kovallam & finally Kanyakumari. At Coorg, we ran into a crazy cyclone, which was when we decided to come back to Mumbai by train, post Kanyakumari.
The ride was amazing, except a few bad stretches from Karwar-Mangalore & few parts of Tamil Nadu.
My bike, a Royal Enfield C500, was a smoother. Damn good torque made the ride a breezer in the mountain ranges. Good seats and the electra handle bar made sure there was no stress on our bodies.
Kudos to Namrata for be a patient pillion on the 2500 km ride.
Shot entirely by a GoPro Hero2 & a Canon 550 D using the stock 18-55mm lens & the 55-250 mm lens.
Music by Tim Mc Morris - Give our dreams their wings to fly.
I thank our families for letting us ride & my friends for inspiring the ride.
