Documentation video from Poste Restante - One Last call, performed in Gothenburg, August 2012
Did you imagine everything to be all right, or at least a bit better? Did you love Gothenburg? Did you think that Gothenburg loved you back? How do you feel now? Does it feel empty? Is it to late anyway? Can you not think about it? Closing Time - One last call offers visitors a place to mourn lost ideals.
During seven summernights Poste Restante offered you a telephone in exchange for you own, and keept you company for a walk in Gothenburg around closing hours. A personal assistant guided you to places that are no longer what they used to be, or is not yet what they could be. The walk went to businesses that are closed, places that is built away, and names that no longer mean the same thing. In Closing Time - One last call memories and experiences are interwoven, and a collective image of your city is created.
