“Virtual Sculpting. Technology meets Satir"
New times call for new ways of doing therapy and training for our precious clients and students. While we have not been able to meet in person or travel, we have continued our work experientially as much as possible while supporting safety and containment of the coronavirus.
Darya Haitoglou, Psychologist from Siberia (Russia) and Pat Bragg, Satir Trainer from Yukon, (Canada) have been experimenting with “virtual sculpting”. We have been using an easily accessible and free program to create an expression of current family dynamics, clients’ Icebergs and their goals and yearnings. The process can include the use of role-players from anywhere in the world and has powerful effects on both the Star, role-players and observers- just like we have witnessed in live processes.
Come and join us for a brief overview on April 28, at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. We will present a couple of examples from actual cases and then ask participants in small groups to discuss, explore other possibilities and share other tools that you may have developed.
