Short excerpts from four works exhibited at 2 galleries during 2012.
Rail Poem and Orientation Video are both "tallscreen" vertical (portrait) aspect ratio HDTV videos.
Tiny Town is a hyper 3D stereoscopic side-by-side HDTV video that miniaturizes various monumental cityscapes, rendering them into little dioramas.
Endless Walk is a "video booth" using floor projection. It's about futile walking meditation.
Due to their special installation requirements, these works can only be displayed properly in gallery space.
To accommodate film festival venues, these have compromised versions available. But they don't work as well.
All four were on exhibit at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art in Saint Joseph Missouri in September-October 2012 and Rail Poem was at the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art in Chicago in December 2012.
