Day-in Day-out since 1982, New Balance's Flimby Factory up in the Lake District of the United Kingdom has been making quality sports shoes come rain or shine.
Compared to the US-made sneakers that are more known for their lush combination of premium suede and nylon mesh, the UK kicks are revered for their high quality full grain leathers that brings a dress-shoe like element to classic runners such as the 576, 577 and 1500.
In this video, we take a look inside Flimby to see how the workers - some who've been with the company for more than 20 years - make excellent happen.
Also, the shoes being produced are from the 577 "Farmers Market" pack and will be available at select stockists across Southeast Asia from the middle of December 2012 onwards.
