Ilam Park and Hall in Derbyshire, contemplating freedom and being-becoming British.
The answer may lie in a fine 'balancing act' or at momentary points called 'happiness' on the pendulum swings of our lives? What lies behind the beautiful architectures of our grand heritages? What hangs in the branches of our collective histories? Who of us prefer being at the edge of change and who at the refuge of the centre?
