We were at the celebration of my mother in law, TsoTso Mensah, this past Saturday in Lashibi, a suburb of Accra, Ghana, following her funeral at Osu Cemetery in the city center of Accra.

Agbe Music & Dance of Africa -- a cultural troupe fronted by the uncle (on the other side of her family) of one of our niece's -- was playing its hard traditional drum chants when one of our elderly aunts began to leave the gathering.

She is infirm and was walking by cane, but the music was so powerful, she could not resist breaking into a traditional dance as she passed.
