The Foodbank of Santa Barbara serves nearly 1 of 4 County residents. In this slightly shortened from youtube version, I interview philanthropist Susan Bridges; Ron Gallo, president of the Santa Barbara Foundation; Pam Lewis, of the Hutton Parker Foundation; Natalie Orfalea of the Orfalea Foundation and of SchoolFood.org, and Jacob Mansbach, an 8 year old chef-in-training. We're making my Chicken Thighs with Two Pepper Stir-Fry for hungry high school kids, and Erik Talkin CEO, narrates. This video was shot to illustrate the Foodbank's work and why so many people think it's life changing. But the piece conveys some of the fun and engagement that is so important in doing work of all types, at least to me. My interviews are off-the-cuff hosting: no script, or rehearsal!
