This is part three of four of UXPALA's World Usability Day event of 2012. Dr. Jim Hudson is a Global Research Manager in Customer Experience and Design at PayPal. In his current role, Dr. Hudson manages research teams working on large, multi-stage research projects covering all stages of the development lifecycle - everything from understanding customer needs to rapidly iterating designs based on customer feedback to tracking customer satisfaction of live designs. With checkout at the core of PayPal's business, Dr. Hudson's team has observed thousands of customers making purchases online, and has surveyed tens of thousands more. With PayPal's full localized websites in 24 countries, Dr. Hudson spends much of his time focused on how customer findings apply across different geographies.
