In this video, Joshua Pardon compares the Sony Zeiss 24-70mm f/2.8 lens against the Canon 24-70mm II USM f/2.8 lens on the Sony FS-700 camera. Lens comparison test footage was filmed during an interview shoot at the Kalamazoo Public Library in Kalamazoo, Michigan for the "State Hospital Project" Documentary Film.
The Sony Zeiss 24-70mm f/2.8 lens was used with the Sony LA-EA2 lens adapter. The Canon 24-70mm II USM lens was used with the Metabones Smart Adapter II.
This is *not* a technical lens comparison - no chip charts here! This is an aesthetic lens comparison.
The following features were evaluated:
• Fringing, Artifacts, & Aberrations
• Color and Highlight Rendering
