This is my first attempt at making a short time-lapse of the sunrise over the Quantock Hills in Somerset on 01/12/12.
I used a Canon 550D, set to capture one frame every 30secs. I took a total of 110 photos before the sun went behind the cloud (which you see the end). I used 2 ND filters (a 4 and an 8 I think). Each exposure was 30" and I changed the aperture slightly as the sun came up so ranged between f/7.1 - f/18.
I shot in RAW but I didn't change anything - just imported them straight into Final Cut Pro X and slowed it down to 35%.
Unfortunately my dog got in a couple of the shots and he also knocked the tripod slightly half way through. I could've corrected these things but thought I'd just upload it as it was because it's so short!
