“Will you be there?” narrates the accidental encounter of a young professional with a street urchin. They represent two parallel worlds that coexist in urban India, each almost incognisant of the other. Though they lead starkly contrasting lives, beneath the surface, there exists the same undercurrent. While for one it is poignantly alive as a treasured memory, for the other it is lost in the dreary mundaneness of a routine life. The film raises the eternal question of the worth of material possessions and reminds us of the relationships which we leave behind in the journey to achieve them.
