'TIS THE SEASON: OLD HOME HOLIDAY TOUR
Living Christmas Cards Bring Exhibits to Life
"Christmas Carols" is the theme for this year's Old Home Holiday Tour at the Wood County Historical Museum, December 8th - 21st. Take a self-guided tour through over 30 museum exhibits, each decorated with a different carol in mind, or stop in on a special day to watch Living Christmas Cards come to life. Admission is $5/adult and $1/child. Free admission for Historical Society members.
Local groups and individuals have pooled their creativity to transform the Museum into a winter wonderland of over 100 mechanical villages, an explosion of Santas, and an assortment of Christmas traditions and military memories. A holiday gift shop provides unique handmade and historical gifts from local artisans and authors. Outdoor Christmas trees, courtesy of Rick & Carl's Trees, provide a glorious backdrop for family photos.
