This short documentary chronicles the effort of Seattle TV personality Penny Legate to keep her daughter's legacy alive. On Tuesday morning, June 12, 2012, after a long struggle with depression and chemical dependency, Penny's daughter, Marah Williams died of a drug overdose. She was 19. Now, Penny, her ex-husband Mike Williams and daughter, Molly hope to raise money for an ongoing internship program through Seattle's Teens for Public Service and the alternative high school (Middle College High School) which Marah graduated from in 2011. LeGate co-hosted KING 5 TV's Evening Magazine and anchored the news at KIRO 7 TV. She currently works for The Seattle Channel and travels the world advocating for the world's poor through Rotary International.
