A short video of my visit to Pastoria with a visit to Ojoscalientes, Aguascalientes and Zacatecas. Principal purpose was to attend a convention at the Palacio de Convenciones in Zacatecas. Although my parents were born in the U.S., my grandparents were born in Mexico. My cultural background is the Mexican culture. During my stay in Pastoria, a pig was slaughtered, thus a "comida". Many arrived to join in a mexican meal of chicharrones, carnitas, mole' and all the accompanying "faire". The hospitality was 5 star! I had my first experience in a "combi", which is a van that drives you into town! The ride was only 15 pesos ($1.25) one way. The drive was about an hour. Eight days of visiting new friends and I selected only a few photos and videos to use for my video!. I was very careful of their privacy. A wonderful time! I could only share a portion of it with the public! I am 71 years old.....why didn't I do this sooner!
The last instumental in my video goes to Jimmy Gelhaar for Spanish Confrontations. Mr. Gelhaar's music credit!
