These are the most important segments of a long interview that Simone Fojgiel offered at Cornell University, back in October, 2012.
Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, Simone is nowadays the most exported voice that her country ever had, and one of the top Spanish Voice Over Female Talent in the US.
She has built a long, rich, successful career over the past two decades, which began while studying Mass & Social Communications at the most prestigious university of her country, Universidad Católica del Uruguay.
After working for 13 years at the #1 FM station, Océano FM, as an On-Air Personality and DJ, Main Female Corporate/Commercial Voice Talent, Audio Imaging Director and Creative Copywriter, Simone decided in 2004 to promote her talent by the Internet --which, for certain, made a huge impact in her career, and for good.
Simone is permanently booked by the best national and international voice banks and independent agencies, not only for her voice over skills, but also for her English>Spanish Translation & Proofreading Services, Creative Copywriting and Audio Imaging Productions.
Some of her clients include: Target, Harley Davidson, Kimberly Clarke, Bayer, Novartis, Microsoft, Nokia, Nintendo, The Walt Disney Company, Intercontinental Hotels, Marriott, Holiday Inn, Princess Cruises, Sony, Univisión, Pepsi, Delta, Gillette, Maybelline, Revlon, McDonald’s, Home Depot, Levi’s, and many other important brands.
Simone's talent was awarded overseas for her voice over work in Radio & TV campaigns. Those prizes arrived at several editions of the Clio Awards, the New York Festival and Cannes. It's important to remark that Simone was also honoured as Best Radio Personality in her country, at the Woman of the Year Awards.
She currently lives in Tampa Bay, Florida, and works from her home professional studio on a daily basis, and has built through the years an enviable list of clients with whom she maintains a fluid, long-term, even personal relationship.
