Eric and Glich were schoolmates in college. They were introduced to each other by a common friend. Eric courted Glich because she seemed so mysterious and a quiet type of girl. Eric is kind and a God fearing person, and this is why Glich didn’t have second thoughts about accepting his love. She accepted it on January 3, 2008 (on Eric’s birthday). Regardless of their long distance relationship, their love endured.
Everything went well during their special day. Eric was just a little uncomfortable before the ceremony started, because he didn’t get enough sleep the night before (which we believe is common with soon-to-be-brides and grooms). They’ve managed not to see each other prior to the ceremony, although they stayed in the same hotel.
Our couple was a little anxious on their way to the AUP (Church), because of the light rainfall…They were worried about a storm which according to the weather forecast was nearly on its way to the Philippines. It seemed like it was just a sign of God’s blessing, because it stopped after a few minutes.
The bride was so happy upon seeing the set-up on the church aisle… specially the twigs and the crystals. What’s distinctive about this ceremony was that the couple was facing the guests (rather than the typical setup where the couple is facing the altar). There was a little twist on their recession. Upon their exit from the church, the couple was showered with colorful balloons (the balloons they thought they are going to release later). The couple and the guests were delighted by it. At the reception, Eric and Glich were both game and happy… that’s why the outcome was very pleasing.
