Before the LHC was switched on, the Tevatron at Fermilab in Chicago was previously the most powerful particle collider in the world.
It's March 2012 and the experiments at the Tevatron are due to announce the final results of their search for the Higgs before their collider is turned off for good.
Will their findings show the same hints of a Higgs-like signal already spotted at the LHC?
