Roderick Spradley is a middle school instructor in Austin, Texas, so he's always trying to get a message into the heads of children. He's also a song-writer, and Spradley has created "Rules for Survival," which is a lesson for young folks in the hip-hop medium of the moment. This is the full-length performance of the song which was excerpted in JUNETEENTH JAMBOREE (2009). Spradley is accompanied by student Frank Bonner.
