10 Minutes Left 從2007年開始發展至今。在前期的階段，以間隙掃瞄(Slit-scan video)的方式拍攝我的家人，傳達藉由長時間、機械式的凝望產生陌生的親暱感。
“10 Munites Left!”
On the lens holder, therefore, they decide the length of the existence.
I started working on 10 Minutes Left in 2007. In its begining stage, I recorded my family members as slit-scan video with an attempt to represent certain alienated intimacy through a long mechanical gaze.
The version in 2012 further demonstrates the distance between the perceived world and the material one. I randomly selected some passengers on the street, asking them to stand in front of the camera for 10 minutes. I asked them to count down without speaking out, and after they counted ten minutes they should just go away from the camera. The duration of the video is also ten minutes, but each one stays in the video for different lengths of time.
