Experts worldwide are calling for a food system transformation within the next decade if we are going to be able to feed a growing population sustainably while meeting global climate and environmental goals. This session will introduce CDP’s Sustainable Food Systems Initiative, detailing the business and environmental case for a food systems transformation and the key actions that have been identified for the corporate food value chain as it relates to the CDP disclosure journey. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and hear from food companies who are working toward a resilient and sustainable food future by implementing actions such as: planning their transition strategies, implementing traceability schemes in their supply chains, and driving good agriculture practices in their value chains. Attendees will be invited to identify gaps in their capacity to address these challenges and discuss potential solutions.
