Sergeant Marshmallow, Toullie and Sister come to life in 'Happy Box' (2011), the first short film based on the webcomic 'Brudders' by Greenlaw.
This film was originally created for the Halloween themed art festival Gothtober, where a rough 'pre-release' version made its world premiere on October 29, 2011. The Gothtober theme for that year was 'chain restaurant.' A 'final' version of the movie was released in September 2012 and an even more final HD version was released later in December. (We promise, this is the FINAL final version. For now.)
Tech-heads may find it interesting that 'Happy Box' was the first animated movie completely animated using two synchronized Kinect Sensor video game controllers. In fact, this short film was created to develop an economical motion capture pipeline to be used in an more ambitious Little Green Dog film currently in production.
