The spanish choreographer and dancer Meritxell Campos Olivé presents her dance theatre performance VERTIGO on Thursday, Oktober 25th in Fluxbau (Berlin). VERTIGO presents to the viewer a life in a nutshell: intensive, emotional and touching. The 25-minute piece examins unexpected challenges, sudden changes of life and personal catastrophies. Nevertheless VERTIGO is anything but depressive – like all works of Meritxell Campos Olivé it is colourful, dynamic and despite its emotional weight profundly optimistic. These contrasts can also be found in the music of harpsichordist Daniel Trumbull, which combines works of the baroque with modern music from motion pictures. The visual design is made by Georgina Espasa.
