Even though street musicians are an important part of everyday life, giving a certain face for example to a metropolis or a small town, they can also be a platform to study the evolution of music as one of the most powerful entertainment offers in the world, perceived more as a business or show than an artistic proposal, which has resulted in narrow marketing and massive broadcasting channels which only a few musicians can be part of. The street musicians look for alternatives to share their work and establish a relationship with a possible audience, besides earning money to survive, of course; in European countries some of them compose their own pieces and even reach professional performance skills; they are unemployed musicians, or rather self-employed. These musicians were recorded in the summer of 2012 in Berlin.
