Fighting against light pollution and tiredness, I captured a few hours of the night sky to create a time-lapse in honour of Sir Patrick Moore, who was an amateur astronomer and taught thousands of normal people how to appreciate the night sky and the universe above us.
Sir Patrick Alfred Caldwell-Moore, CBE, FRS, FRAS (4 March 1923 – 9 December 2012)

If you look closely, you might see some geo-syncronous satellites.
Some frames needed re-aligning as something in the camera decided every 4-5 shots to dip down for one shot, then up to its original place for the next 4-5 shots. The satellites appear to bounce back and forth due to stabilising the footage using street lamps as reference. Also I set the camera up in my bedroom window, so the blurry flashing you can see is the back wall of my room being reflected in the window.
