Rebeca used to live in a world full of options. She was a young lady full of ambitions and had the dream of becoming a dentist. She had direction, security, intelligence, friends, money, and a boyfriend – everything that a young teenager could wish for.
Suddenly, her world crumbles at a crossroad. Convinced by her boyfriend, Pedro, that having sex before marriage does not have consequences, Rebeca becomes pregnant. Her difficult situation puts her in the dilemma of choosing life (having the baby) or death (having an abortion).
The young lady doubts . . . what is she supposed to do? On one side, Pedro tells her she has to abort the baby because what she carries is just a “bunch of cells.” Her friend, Julieta, who has decided to remain celibate until marriage, tells her that the right choice is life. Her father, worried about his own reputation and the danger of his position as a church elder, demands an abortion. Her mother advises the preservation of life . . . Rebeca feels caught between a rock and a hard place and finds herself having to make tough choices.
