This is the story of Taichi Kitamura, Hirokazu Tawara, and the food they create in the Pacific Northwest. The food they cook in Japanese tradition at Sushi Kappo Tamura is inextricably connected to the landscape of Seattle. Along with the fishers, harvesters, and farmers of the Pacific Northwest, these chefs form an interconnected ecosystem of food, place, and people.
