Written for my graduate thesis project, I wanted to create a world of interactive sound, stories, and visuals for my comic book skeleton character, Little Bones Babes. My interest was in exploring the childlike whimsical dreams of a little girl to the seriousness and solitude of daily life.
Presentation: Video projection of Little Bones Babes as a moving comic book in conjunction with live acoustic piano and vocal accompaniment. My intent was to play with conflict and tension, and I did so by creating the character in print to be an innocent while vocally exploring more complex melodies and ideas.
Special thanks to Jason Achillies Mezilis for letting me play his piano while he was out and about.
