A commissioned work--which I wrote with Eleni Katsoulaki to commemorate the anniversary of Crete's independence. The film was shown at Heraklion, Crete's capital. The program is in Greek--with many images used by kind permission from the Hellenic Cultural Museum in Utah. Greeks flocked to the US at the turn of the century and up until around 1915--representing the last major wave of immigrants to work on the railroads and in the mines of the Intermountain West.
