This is my entry for the 'Old Videogames' 5-Second project currently being held over at Greyscalegorilla. It was created entirely within Luxology's Modo 302, and was basically just an excuse to play around with some sexy motion-blur (which I only partially now regret.) Let me know what you think - I know it's not exactly elegant, but the idea of 'keep it simple' went out the window early on as it was just too much fun to keep adding things.
Quick facts :
* Render times were between 3 minutes and 47 minutes per frame
* Vignette was created 'in camera' using a transparency mapped image plane
* The original ball in Pong had just under 8000 polygons. With the advent of normal mapping however, this was brought down to a more comfortable 3408 in the mid-90's.
