On Saturday, December 15, 2012, activist Alicia Jackson speaks at the release event for Don't Move Out! Foreclosure Resistance in Portland, an over-sized poster offering a tool for homeowners to resist having the homes foreclosed. The release event was held in Jackson's home, who is currently resisting her foreclosure.
The poster, a collaboration between the Dill Pickle Club and We Are Oregon, explains the policies of banking corporations since the onset of the economic recession, and what people can do about it. The piece is illustrated by artist Jesse Reklaw, and is told through a comic-book format, featuring the stories of several Portlanders who have had their homes repossessed.
