This will be the final Pets of the Week episode for this year. Pets of the Week will resume on January 8, 2013. Best wishes for a safe holiday season and a very happy New Year from Osceola County Animal Control.

"Mistletoe" is very handsome, 2-year old, male Domestic Shorthair cat. "Mistletoe" has a gorgeous gray and white fur coat and he really is a nice big fluffy feline. "Mistletoe" is a stray, so not much is known about him. He gets along well with other cats and he has been neutered. "Mistletoe" is very friendly and loves to be held and petted and scratched. He doesn't seem to mind being indoors or outdoors. He does like to stretch out and relax, wherever he is located. Won't you come and meet "Mistletoe" and perhaps give him a forever home for the holidays? If you would like to meet "Mistletoe," come to the Shelter and ask for the cat with ID number A157160.

Sweet little "Holly Berry" would love to be the star in your home for the holidays! She is a wonderful, playful 9-week old female Pointer mix puppy. She is black and white with lots and lots of black freckles! She is a little shy at first, but she is quite friendly and loving and will warm up to you very quickly. She also loves to give kisses. Adorable "Holly" is a stray, so not much is known about her. She will need quite a bit of attention in housebreaking and socialization because she is very young. If you would like to visit "Holly Berry," please come to the Shelter and ask for the little puppy with ID number A157402.

"Mistletoe," "Holly Berry" and many other animals at the Osceola County Animal Shelter need forever homes. If you are interested in adopting any of the animals currently available at the Shelter, please come in and visit as soon as you can. Please, please keep in mind, however, that the animals' stay at the Shelter is EXTREMELY limited, and they may or may not be available when you arrive. The Shelter will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as well as on New Year's Day, so please plan ahead. The Shelter is located at 3910 Old Canoe Creek Road in St. Cloud, or to find out what animals are available, check the adoptable pets on the Osceola County Animal Control website at
