Ethno Nightlife was a proud sponsor of the Basketball Wives Holiday Toy Drive The Crocker Club on Thursday, December 6, 2012. The event was co-hosted by Basketball Wives, Gloria Govan, Laura Govan, Jada Paul, and Mercedes Javid. The proceeds benefited the The Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women & Children.
On Friday, December 7, 2012, the Basketball Wives along with the Ethno Nightlife team visited the Good Shepherd Center to tour the facility, meet some of the mothers and children, wrap gifts, and donate toys collected from the Holiday Drive.
"I'm excited to be part of such a great event. This is what Ethno Nightlife is all about. We love to party and have fun, but we're doing it with a purpose. So many of the Basketball Wives have a bad reputation from the media that they leave out important contributions as such. Our goal is to make sure that everyone gets involved in the community and make a difference" says Tyrin "Doe" Ford, CEO/Founder of Ethno Nightlife.
About The Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women & Children:
Since 1984, Good Shepherd Center has assisted the most vulnerable of the homeless population— women and children. GSC's mission is to help homeless women rebuild their lives so they and their children will experience a brighter future. Through housing, employment and other supportive services, GSC offers women hope and the opportunity to achieve independence. In GSC's 28 years of operation, they have impacted the lives of over 25,000 homeless women and children in the Los Angeles area. Each night, Good Shepherd Center houses up to 93 women and 40 children in their four residences.
