I had the joy of returning to Kenya Nov. 18-Dec. 1 to go and do TRUE IDENTITY SEMINARS in the churches of some of the women who attended the July 2011 Kenya True Identity Retreat, as well as teach in a Kenyan church on a Sunday morning, and be a part of the Divine Providence Training Center -Pastors School Class of 2012 graduation. I also heard many amazing testimonies of how the True Identity message is transforming marriages, families, churches, and communities!
The 5 women of the DPTC graduating class were all at the 2011 Kenya TI Retreat. One sister, Martha, had her baby just a day before I stopped to see her on my way north to Nyahururu area of Kenya! (She was able to attend the DPTC graduation with her baby and family! ) I spent 5 days in the Nyahururu area and then 2 days in Kinangop with Kenya TI sister Judy and her 3 girls. I taught TI seminars, shared the TI message in a Kenyan Sunday morning service for a total of 2 hours, met with TI sisters and others to talk and pray about launching True Men in Kenya in May of 2013, and expanding the reach of True Identity in Kenya. Overall, I was able to share the TI message with over 300 during my time in Kenya!
I joined with a team from my home church, Roswell United Methodist Church, toward the end of my time in Kenya to celebrate the DPTC graduation together. It was wonderful to reconnect with Kenyan sisters and brothers, meet new friends, and see all God is doing in Kenya! Our prayer is to return in May of 2013 to launch TRUE MEN and do more TI for women and possibly youth.
