“de-defragmented:sense” is an audio / visual dance performance held in 02 December 2012 in Bilgi University Santralİstanbul Campus.
“de-defragmented:sense” is a dance performance that uses images and sound to create an “augmented space” for its performers and the audience. The concept of personal space is explored through light and sound, and motivates
every aspect of the performance. Thus the project’s concept based on the analysis of its elements (components).
The project blends tangible and intangible elements from different Disciplines: modern dance, sound design, and video mapping. Dance, Sound Design and Video Mapping all together and defragment them as one piece while its fragments remain visible in a graphical sense in an innovative way.
The choreography focuses on personal space, self-awareness and perception of others. The interaction of the dancers creates the sound, and the unity of the sound and choreography creates the visuals. All these created elements interact both in a physical and digital way. And this complex interaction will be performed in the end as “de-defragmented:sense”.
