A legal documentary for the Clinkscales family.
Written by South Carolina lawyer and friend Christopher Pracht, directed by Amara Untermeyer, filmed/edited by Dan Ramirez, this short doc tells a brief story of the life of Harold Clinkscales and the personal toll suffered by his family after his untimely death for use as a potential settlement piece. Though not usual in structure we are proud to have assembled what is essentially a visual tool for legal advocacy that comes close to maintaining classical documentary form. Out of respect for all of those involved and the suffering they have undergone we will not make a directors cut to streamline a documentary arc.
Harold Clinkscales was an FFA farmer, recognized by countless members of congress, as well as countless national farming organizations as one of the best farmers in the United States.
The state of South Carolina, and our country has lost one of the most committed farmers, an incredible and committed father, grandfather, husband, friend, and Christian.
We dedicate this piece to all of the hard working family farmers of our country, who go unrecognized for their dedication, hard work, and struggle to put healthy food on our tables.
