Have been thinking a lot about home waters lately. Decided to pay a visit to the upper Credit where I first cast a fly for Brook Trout. Its been a mild winter so far, but it was still cold. Had to look hard for any signs of life. Sleeping a good sleep. Nearly missed the turnoff from the railway tracks. A stump was all that remained of the tall sentinel that overlooked the pool behind the big rock. The over-hanging cedars seemed to drop closer to the water and some of them had piled up into a log jam in the slower water.
