As the military said: “You should never have wet sox”; and they are right.
At this wedding, Dan and his groomsmen went to play golf in the morning. Since it rained the day before, the ground was soaked. Long and I were unprepared for the situation. In the video and photos, everything looks beautiful, but in reality, the field was terrible that day. After the game, everyone had wet feet. And this is the first time that a groom offers me new sox during a wedding day (very nice of him). Nevertheless, we still worked with wet feet all day. Because our shoes were so wet that there was nothing to do, even with new and dry sox. I usually bring extra clothes, especially when I’m on steadicam. But from now on, I’ll bring spare shoes and sox as well.
Apart from the story of our wet feet, it was a beautiful day and a wonderful wedding. Everything was perfect, the temperature, the sunny sky, the people, the couple…love is in the air. It was a very inspiring wedding to cover. Cristina and Daniel are such a beautiful couple. All the testimonies and speeches say a lot about them. You can see how they are passionate and love each other, but you can also see how they are loved and appreciated by those around them.
We had such a nice reaction during the presentation of the SDE. The team worked hard and I’m proud of the result. A big thank you to the team!! And an even bigger thank to Cristina and Daniel for inspiring us and for sharing one of the most important days of your life with us!!!
