Guinness Recognized World’s Largest Athlete looking to dethrone world record eater Kobayashi in Barrie
After a limited career in UFC and national notoriety in Japan as the first African American sumo wrestler in Japanese history, Guinness’ world largest athlete record holder is turning to a career in professional eating. 680 lb, 6’ 8” Emmanuel‘Manny’ Yarborough is looking to begin this endeavor by challenging world record eater Takeru Kobayashi at a pizza eating contest at Pie – Wood Fired Pizza Joint in Barrie, Ontario.
Kobayashi, also known as Kobi, is the 2-time reigning champion of the event which has quickly become Canada’s largest eating event. Kobi looks to break his own personal best of 1 slice short of 11 pizzas in 12 minutes.
Aside from a collection of local competitors, Kobi’s main competition will be Toronto power–eater and youtube sensation ‘Furious’ Pete Czerwinski. World number 2 female eater in the world, 5 foot Stephanie ‘Xanadu’ Torres will also be on hand to take a shot at the title. America’s Jamie ‘Bear’ MacDonald is also making the trip up after winning back to back pizza contests in the states this summer.
Let the best eater win!
